Infrastructure is one of our favorite words in spring. There is a point in the season when everything is going so fast you are doing your best just to keep up, so we focus early on setting things up to make things just a little easier every year.
We try new things in planter boxes every year, to help manage water and help us learn what works and what doesn't for container gardeners. Some plants need deep taproots to grow, so putting it in a box is setting yourself up for heartache. Other plants love the controlled environment of a box, like tomatoes! They need so much nourishment and moisture, you can be sure they're getting enough.
We love that customers come to us for advice on raising their vegetables at home, so we grow container gardens every year to deepen our experience and knowledge to offer them.
